"Tis the season for....TOYS!

I absolutely LOVE decorating with my little toy trucks!  It's so easy to pop something seasonal in the back of these little sweeties.  It just seems fitting to have toy trucks sitting around this house full of boys.  All 3 have bottle brush Christmas trees now but I've done tiny pumpkins, small bales of hay, and little watermelons in the summer.  Michael's and Hobby Lobby carry a nice selection on miniature items.

I found this one at a garage sale, of course, for only $5.  It's quite possibly my favorite and I can't explain why.

I think it's the chunky real-looking tires or maybe the turquoise steering wheel.

This red one is smaller and fits perfectly in my little dome that I change with every season.  I saw a Pinterest picture of a toy truck on the kitchen table holding the salt and pepper shaker.  Love it!  The possibilities truly are endless.
