I love decorating this little dome. You may have noticed the pictures where it's decorated for Father's Day and 4th of July. It is the perfect size for the scrabble stand and my vintage postcards.
I found this sweet little thing at an estate sale for only $3. It was the 3rd day of the sale and not much was left. I'm sure everyone else passed it up because it had a not so attractive clock attached to the stand. But I saw the potential. It took me about 10 minutes to remove the clock and then it was ready for display. I have so much fun finding things to go in it. So...if you like it, keep your eye out for those old gold clocks under the domes. Don't pass one up no matter what shape or size. With a tiny bit of work, they can be one of your best finds ever too.
